Helena, a 15-year-old girl in a family of circus entertainers, often wishes she could run off and join real life. After a fight with her parents about her future plans, her mother falls quite ill and Helena is convinced that it is all her fault. On the eve of her mother's major surgery, she dreams that she is in a strange world with two opposing queens, bizarre creatures, and masked inhabitants. All is not well in this new world - the white queen has fallen ill and can only be restored by the MirrorMask, and it's up to Helena to find it. But as her adventures continue, she begins to wonder whether she's in a dream, or something far more sinister.

I went to this MirrorMask Drama movie with high expectations and did not disappoint! Dave McKean is a genius! Has created a DVD film MirrorMask that is an unprecedented amalgam of live action, puppetry, classical and computer generated animation. This is the kind of MirrorMask film that makes me want to be a filmmaker. McKean is aware of the camera and how best to use it to draw the audience in the world and Neil Gaiman has created. The story is a fascinating study of the self and the problems of duality through the lens of the carnival. The film: MirrorMask refers to the mythologies of various cultures to create one of their own. There is clearly links back to Lewis Carroll and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and shares the dark, twisted sense of humor seen in previous films such as Labyrinth Henson Company and Dark Crystal. The entire DivX Movie MirrorMask is visually beautiful and captivating. Inside each box there is so much to do that, I imagine, even dozens of displays, which will see new things. The images alone would have been enough to make this DVD movie MirrorMask almost perfect, but along with the frantic and crazy music is even more surprising. Congratulations to McKean and Gaiman to create a masterpiece that will stand the test of history film.

Rambles on the DivX film MirrorMask in a boring black and white in the style of filming for about 30 minutes trying to establish some background scenes. Its very sad and uninteresting, half do not make much sense. Then, suddenly switches more color where you get a little better. Here the story is a little more interesting, although I notice almost word for word in some places, the lines of other films like 'never ending story "and the like. Labyrinth that looks like a lot, just a poor copy. Most the monsters seem to have the same "Darth Vader" style voice. Overall I would never hire again. The start was terrible and the only reason why it was a 2 for the rest of operation around trying to get the mask. "The story was blatantly ripped from other films (if at all what you might call a story). And most of the scenes were taken from other films or artsy to be really interesting.
